Sending P9D
P9D Internet Service for PAYE
It is a requirement to have Microsoft Internet Explorer Ver5.5 or above and obviously a conection to the Internet. You also need to be registered with the HMRC and have been issued with a ID & Password.
nb registration can take more than 2 weeks, don't leave it to the last minute.
The Employees that will be sent is displayed
Once you have sent the file any future file sending (even if different ) will be rejected by the Government Gateway.
Send Company Contact.
This is a button that displays 'No' by default. If you wish to send a contact name etc then click it to 'Yes', You can then alter this information with 'Company info'.
Send Agent Contact.
This mirrors the above for agents.
Capacity in which Signed
Normally this would be 'Employer'
Prepare P9D.
This prepares the XML file and enables the Send to HMRC
Send to HMRC
This sends the xml via the Gateway to HMRC. You should receive a positive replay in CalcPay & an email should be sent from HMRC

Show XML file
This pops the file up into Internet Explorer. Please remember to 'refresh' this display if you make any changes..
