Subject to some rules an employee who is pregnant can get S.M.P. See S.M.P. for further information
Where the employee is a partner (need not be a man) of a person who is expecting or adopting a child, they are entitled to up to 2 weeks paid leave. See SPP for further information
Where the employee is adopting a child they are entitled to up to 39 weeks paid leave. See SAP for further information
Where the employee is sharing the Maternity / Adoption pay. They can use up the unused balance that has not been taken.
