There are four allowances given to parents.

Statutory Maternity Pay S.M.P. 39 weeks with the first 6 weeks @ 90% of pay

Statutory Paternity Pay S.P.P 2 weeks.

Statutory Adoption Pay S.A.P. 39 weeks with the first 6 weeks @ 90% of pay

Shared Parenting Pay ShPP no. of weeks not taken regarding SMP to be used by partner or mother.

CalcPay calculates the payments in FULL weeks.
It does this by getting the number of full weeks between 'Date paid leave starts (employment ends)' and the Payrun date, less any weeks previously paid.
Thus an employee who leaves on a Friday and gets paid the following Friday will get paid for a weeks Parenting.
likewise an employee leaving on the last day of the month with a payrun date of 15th will get paid for 2 weeks parenting.
